Privacy
This page describes the data handling built into this initial version of Everyday Edit.
Reading the site
The site runs on WordPress hosted by uPress. Requests to the website may be recorded in hosting and security logs, including IP address, time, requested page, and browser information. This version does not add advertising pixels, third-party analytics, embedded social widgets, or a newsletter service. Fonts and illustrations are served from the site itself.
Contact messages
If you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are used to read and respond to your inquiry. Messages are sent to the site editor’s configured WordPress administrative email through the hosting mail system. The form does not intentionally create a separate message archive in the WordPress database, but email copies and hosting logs may be retained.
Please do not send payment details, passwords, identification documents, or private eBay order information. The form uses a temporary hashed request identifier for spam rate limiting. It also includes a security token and an automated spam check.
Cookies and browser storage
The public guide pages do not intentionally set tracking cookies or store your search terms. WordPress may use cookies for administrative sign-in. Hosting-level security services may also process request information.
Links to other sites
When you follow an external link, the destination website’s own privacy practices apply. There are currently no active affiliate tracking links on this site.
Questions or requests
Use the contact page to ask about information you have sent or request its deletion. We will review the request, including any retention needed for security or legal reasons. This page will be updated when new site features change how information is handled.
